   If I could look like one person on earth besides Angelina Jolie, it might very well be Bebe Neuwirth. And how cool is it that she was Lillith on Cheers AND Velma Kelley in Chicago on Broadway? Versatily + great legs + potential to be bitchy elitist intellectual snob= love.

   I am disturbed in the most appealing way by Daniel Clowes. I keep Ghost World by my bed and read it at night when I am wishing I would dye my hair and drop out of school, partially to convince me I shouldn't but mainly to convince me that I should.

   I wish I was a take-no-crap kind of girl like Lindsay. And there's something infinitely reassuring in the final episdoe when Lindsay gets on that bus... are we seeing a theme here? Disaffected social reject girls that choose to vanish?

   Kate Chopin Anti-Defamation league is the epitome of why I love the Lunatic Fringe and all my Boulder buddies. You guys have sincere idiosycratic passion in a way that all of Wesleyan tries to imitate and fails at. Also, when I was winning some award at the awards assembly senior year, Mr. Carnes read off some sarcastic little life profile I'd been forced to submit. I'd listed K.C.D.L. as one of my activies, and he clearly had no idea what that was so he tried to construe it as some sort of social activism and I almost laughed out loud.

   The psychologist for civilization's neuroses that Freud was searching for.
7. ranger club:
   Yet another entry in the Fringe dictionary; euphamism for stalking club. What more could want than a car full of friends, a telephone book, a box of cheese nips, and a squirt gun shaped like a penis?

   I went to the Trident a ton when I was little, and as much as I enjoyed the Italian sodas, I was afraid of the other hippie children that congregated in the snadbox. Only now do I appreciate the Trident in all its true glory!

   My dad is a hard-core comic book collector. We used to work on his Usagi Yojimbo collection together- he has every issue and every anthology ever minted. I love the art, but I only really got into the story lines with Ketsuni, after whom my first gerbil was named.
